Rocky Mountain Regional Center of Excellence
The Rocky Mountain Regional Center of Excellence for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases Research (RMRCE) at CSU is one of 10 regional research consortia established by NIAID in response to the national threat posed by bioterrorism. A network of research collaborations promotes the development of vaccines and therapies against infections caused by weapons of bioterrorism, and against emerging infectious disease.

The Center for Entrepreneurship
Based in the Department of Management at the College of Business, the Center focuses on creating learning experiences for entrepreneurship students from across the Colorado State University campus.
Programs of Research and Scholarly Excellence
The Programs of Research and Scholarly Excellence at Colorado State University were initiated in 1991. Programs are awarded this designation because they have achieved great distinction and set a standard for excellence that may serve as a model for programs throughout the institution. Programs are selected after an extensive nomination and review process that takes place every four years.
